Dreams occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep as images, ideas, emotions and sensations. They are amongst science’s greatest mysteries, but whatever the reason they are sometimes an escape for our mind or a vivid trap of our fear. While researchers can dream about finding the answer to why we dream, people continue to study their own dreams for insight or guidance and as premonitions of the future.

Our host, Jeff Allen chats with Dr. Jeff Howlin, a Jungian Psychologist to help us better understand dreams and how they affect our lives by answering some of the most asked questions about dreams. Dr. Howlin also talks about May being Mental Health Awareness Month, and what we can do as a society to better understand friends or family who live with psychiatric disorder.
