Take the stairs instead of the elevator. This is the golden rule. No matter where you are, shopping, visiting, or working, always take the stairs no matter if it is for one floor or ten floors. Weed your garden or clean up the leaves, and you have another way to burn down calories. Take the dog for a walk and play with your pet. If you do not have a pet, get a dog. It is a great calorie burner. Park your car away from your shopping point and carry the bags yourself.
