Professor Omura is currently adjunct Professor of Family Medicine and Community Medicine of New York Medical College and President and Professor of International College of Acupuncture & Electrotherapeutics. Formerly he was director of medical research of heart disease research foundation.

Professor Omura also developed new non-invasive methods of detecting various infections and biochemical changes in different parts of the heart. Using non-invasive method from recorded ECGs, Professor Omura can detect Lyme disease infection of the heart near SA node & atriums. Contrary to the present concept which does not include Lyme Disease among the 13 potential factors involved in atrial fibrillation, Professor Omura found that, Borrelia burgdorferi, the pathogen of Lyme disease, is one of the major causes of Atrial Fibrillation and Atrial Fibrillation is a major cause for strokes.

Professor Omura discovered optimal dose of vitamin-D3 has 10 unique beneficial effects including its anti-cancer effect. It increases the urinary excretion of virus, bacteria & fungus. It also causes a significant increase in acetylcholine & blood circulation. Professor Omura found a combination of optimal dose of vitamin-D3 and optimal dose of white freshed Dragon-fruit which has maximum safe range of zinc concentration of close to 25 mg is rich and safe amount of zinc can reduce cancer activity to minimal values. However, once treatment is stopped cancer activity comes back to its original state. In 2018 Professor Omura discovered by applying 2 additional procedures 1) Selective Drug Uptake Enhancement Methods 2) Stimulation of Thymus gland representation area on the back of each hand or foot, cancer activity can be stopped completely. Even in hopelessly advanced 3 terminal cancer patients it also stopped cancer activities. As long as optimal dose of vitamin-D3 is taken 3 or 4 times a day, cancer activity can be inhibited.

Professor Omura also discovered when zinc concentration is close to 25 mg but not exceeding 25 mg, DNA mutation become close to 0. But if concentration exceeds 25 mg, early stage of cancer develops rapidly due to instability of DNA.

Professor Omura developed new non-invasive methods of detecting various cancers from rapidly changing part of QRS complex of ECGs. He also developed new non-invasive methods of detecting various infections and biochemical changes in different parts of the heart. Using non-invasive method from recorded ECGs, Professor Omura can detect Lyme disease infection of the heart.

Professor Omura teaches or gives consultations through the activity of his associated organizations and by request of other doctors and other medical organizations. Professor Omura has done extensive research on the effects of chemotherapy on the heart and brain of cancer patients since he noticed many of his cancer patients have developed memory problems, as well as heaviness and discomfort of the heart after chemotherapy.

His new method of evaluating ECGs often shows abnormality in the heart, even though these ECGs are considered to be within normal limits according to current concepts. Moreover, his recent research provided alternative, simple, safe, effective and economical anti-cancer treatment. Professor Omura has published over 280 original research reports & 9 books, and gave lectures and keynote presentations on non-invasive early diagnosis and safe, economical effective treatment in cardiology and oncology at many international conferences around the globe.
