Q: Is it okay to interview Dr.’s before becoming a patient?
A: Absolutely. However, you will likely not get to see a doctor or talk with one if there is no appointment or relationship established. I might suggest going and having your first appointment with a prospective doctor and ensuring that there is a good 2 way relationship and that you are the center of the care provided. If things don’t seem ideal, don’t schedule a follow-up and try seeing another doctor. Get a feel of the provider you’re looking for by visiting their web site and/or profiles online.
