Effective stress control is possible in just a short amount of time! Exercise and relaxation are the best ways to control stress, but it is not always feasible to jog or
take a meditation break every time you face a stressful situation. However, you can practice some controlled breathing exercises, which can reduce your stress levels in just 3-5 minutes. Try out this mindful breathing exercise when you feel your stress levels soaring:

• Sit straight in a comfortable position.
• Focus on your present state and block all the thoughts, which disturb your mind. Close your eyes if you like.
• Pay attention to your breathing. Feel the air inhaled through your nostrils. Breathe normally. Exhale through mouth. Exhale slightly longer than you
inhale.
• Practice 15-20 minutes a day. If you practice this exercise regularly, you will train your body and mind to cope with stressful situations.
